Former Indian Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma is gearing up for the upcoming ODI series against England. The three-match ENG vs IND ODI series is scheduled to be played from July 14 to 19.

The first encounter will take place on July 14 at Edgbaston in Birmingham, the second clash will be played at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on July 16, while the final game will be conducted on July 19 at The Lord’s, London.

Rohit Sharma, who is India’s current opener in the 50-over format, would be keen to make it count, and help his team win, especially after team’s poor outings in T20Is. The right-handed batter has already commenced his preparations in England, engaging in rigorous training sessions over the last few days.

The veteran Indian batter aims to represent India in the ODI World Cup 2027, and his performance against England will be a crucial factor in determining his future in the national team. Rohit impressed with his form last year, but since the start of 2026, he has failed to make a mark.

For instance, he has scored 204 runs in six ODI games this year at an average of 34.0 with one half-century. He struggled to score big in the ODI series against New Zealand in January, but gave a better show in the campaign against Afghanistan last month.
