Harbhajan Singh and Ashish Nehra played a massive role in India’s success during their playing days across formats.
Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra recently hosted Ashish Nehra and his wife Rushma in a chat show named “Who’s The Boss”.
Harbhajan and Nehra had a lot of fun on the sets of Who’s the Boss. The two former Indian cricketers looked back at their international careers on the show.
On the show, they picked players for movies like “Khiladi No1”, “Pathan”, “Jawaan” and Shershah. Harbhajan picked Sachin Tendulkar as Khiladi while both of them agreed on Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra and Shikhar Dhawan for the three other movies.
Going ahead, they also picked “3 Idiots” from the Indian team during their playing days. From the popular Amir Khan movie, they picked themselves, along with either Yuvraj Singh or Zaheer Khan, to complete the trio. The four of them played a lot together and over the years, developed a great love and respect for each other.

Further, they picked each other for “Coolie” and former Indian skipper Rohit Sharma for the movie “Ghajini”. Harbhajan chose Hardik Pandya’s name for the movie “Devdas”. Bhajji chose Anil Kumble’s name for “Don” and Abhishek Sharma for the movie “Gully Boy”.
Further in the chat show, Nehra was asked about a teammate who would eat a lot during their playing days. The former Indian pacer named Mohammad Kaif and the Pathan brothers (Irfan and Yusuf) for the same. He took Harbhajan’s name when asked about a player’s name who would not bath for days.
“One of them is right here. You asked me to tell the truth, so I did,” he pulled a prank of Harbhajan with his response.
Nehra and his wife Rushma got married in April 2009. Talking about Harbhajan and Geeta, both of them tied the knot in October 2015. Talking about Bhajji, he is part of the Hindi commentary team for the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026. Nehra, on the other hand, will be back on the cricket field in IPL 2026 as Gujarat Titans’ head coach.
