Team India will play three T20Is, three ODIs and two tests on South Africa tour.
Team India are all set to travel to South Africa for a multi-format tour in December and January 2023–24. The tour will start with three T20Is on December 10. Indian selection committee announced the squad on Thursday, 30th December, which saw three different captains for three different formats. Rohit Sharma will lead the test side.
On the other hand, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav are captains in ODIs and T20Is, respectively. The selectors have given chances to a number of players in the coming series, but there are only three players who are part of all squads across three formats. Here is a list of three players who are part of squads across formats for South Africa tour.
3 Indian players who have been included in squads of all 3 formats for the tour of South Africa:
1. Ruturaj Gaikwad :

Ruturaj Gaikwad ended up as the highest run-scorer in the recently concluded five-match T20I series between India and Australia. He has shown great form and was in line to represent the country across formats. Hence, he has gotten the reward for his performance and got a call-up for all three formats in South Africa. With India trying new players, he is expected to make his test debut as well.
2. Shreyas Iyer :

Shreyas Iyer is another guy who will be playing in all three formats on South Africa tour. He is in great form and scored more than 500 runs in the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Hence, BCCI wants to give him more chances, and he will be playing in South Africa across formats. It will be a good experience for him.
3. Mukesh Kumar :

Mukesh Kumar has had consistent chances in the last few months or so. He is pretty accurate with his line and length, and the management has given him good chances as well. Though it is a surprise, he is also part of all three formats on South Africa tour. In 2023 itself, he made his debut in all three formats for his country, and he will be the one for the future.
