The first T20I match of the ZIM vs IND series will be held in Harare on Thursday, July 23.
The Indian Cricket Team will be touring Zimbabwe for a three-match bilateral T20I series, which will take place in Harare, starting on Thursday, July 23. India are going through a poor run, having returned from a very disappointing tour of Ireland and England.
They lost the T20I series to Ireland 0–2 for the first time in history and then suffered a 0–4 defeat against England in the T20I series. After that, they also lost the ODI series against England 1–2.
Questions have been raised by both the fans and the media over the approach of the team management and the performances of the players. However, they will be looking to put those disappointing performances behind them and focus on the new challenge against Zimbabwe.
Even though India are the clear favourites to win the series, their recent record suggests they are not playing their best cricket at the moment. The hosts will be looking to exploit that and pull off an upset. On that note, let’s have a look at the three players who could trouble India in the upcoming T20I series.
3 Zimbabwe players India need to watch out for in ZIM vs IND T20I series
3. Sikandar Raza

The one and only name that comes to mind after hearing about Zimbabwe cricket is probably Sikandar Raza. Raza has been the backbone of his team for more than a decade and has showcased his abilities all over the world.
Even at the age of 40, he is currently the best player of Zimbabwe and will be leading the side against India. The all-rounder will be keen to face a quality team in his own backyard and will be looking to help his side pull off a memorable upset.
2. Blessing Muzarabani

Another major challenge for the India will be facing the pace bowling of speedster Blessing Muzarabani. Muzarabani, over the years, has emerged as a prominent bowler for the Zimbabwe and has impressed many fans across the globe. He has shown his potential in global T20 leagues as well, and he was the only player from his country to be part of the IPL 2026, where he played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Muzarabani is going to be a very key player in the success of his side against the strong batting line-up of India. With the Indian players out of form, he would like to grab the chance and provide victory to his team.
1. Ben Curran
Ben Curran has been emerging as a top player and continues to leave everyone impressed. Coming from a cricketing family, where his father himself was a cricketer for Zimbabwe, his two brothers, Tom Curran and Sam Curran, represented England, while Ben chose to play for Zimbabwe.
Recently, in the ODI series against Bangladesh, Ben scored a brilliant century and helped the team seal the series win. He has not made his T20I debut yet, but he might be handed his debut cap in the series against India and could be a threat to the Indian team.
