Top five batsmen with most runs in U19 Asia Cup 2025

Pakistan’s Sameer Minhas scored two centuries in the U19 Asia Cup 2025.
Pakistan‘s youth side defeated India‘s U-19 team to win the ICC Under-19 Asia Cup 2025. After India’s U19 team defeated Pakistan in the group stage, the two giants clashed again in the summit clash. However Pakistan stunned India with a margin of 191 runs to lift the Asia Cup crown.
Nevertheless, the tournament turned out to be memorable for several players, especially batters. A total of seven 100s and 22 half-centuries were scored in the tournament. Interestingly, apart from the top five, only Afghanistan’s Faisal Khan Shinozada scored a century in the U-19 Asia Cup.

5. Ayaan Mishab (UAE) – 243 runs
The only player in the list outside India and Pakistan is Ayaan Mishab. The top-order batter scored 243 runs in three matches for the UAE. After getting dismissed at 3 in the first match of the tournament against India, Mishab scored 163 runs against Malaysia and then played a 77-run innings against Pakistan.
4. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (India) – 261 runs
One of the most famous names in the Indian line-up at the U-19 Asia Cup, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, scored a total of 261 runs in five matches. Suryavanshi commenced his campaign in the UAE with a 171-run inning against the hosts.
The 14-year-old also scored a half-century against Malaysia, and also smashed the most sixes in the tournament, 20. Suryavanshi also had the best strike rate in the tournament, 182.
3. Ahmed Hussain (Malaysia) – 268 runs
Ahmed Hussain started his U-19 Asia Cup campaign with a brilliant knock of 132 runs against Malaysia. However, after scoring only 4 runs against India in the group stage, he played two crucial innings in the later matches.
Against Bangladesh, Ahmed Hussain scored 65, while in the final against India, he smashed another half-century, helping Pakistan win the U19 Asia Cup 2025. The 18-year-old accumulated a total of 268 runs in five innings.
2. Abhigyan Abhishek Kundu (India) – 276 runs
India’s Abhigyan Abhishek Kundu scored 276 runs in the U19 Asia Cup. However, a majority of his runs came during India’s group stage match against Malaysia, where he played an unbeatable knock of 209 runs.
In the other matches, his best score was 32 unbeaten. Kundu’s average was 138, while his strike rate was 142 in the five matches.
1. Sameer Minhas (Pakistan)- 471 runs
Pakistan’s Sameer Minhas emerged as the highest run-getter in the ICC U19 Asia Cup 2025. Minhas scored two 100s and one half-century in the tournament. In the first game of the tournament, he played an unbeatable knock of 177 runs against Malaysia.
Later, in the tournament final, he smashed another ton, scoring 172 runs against India. The right-handed opening batter accumulated a total of 471 runs in the U19 tournament with an average of 157. Minhas also scored the most fours in the tournament, 41.
