The 22-year-old was with Gujarat Giants in the last season and was released ahead of the auction, having been acquired for Rs. 70 lakh in the 2023 auction.

Sutherland, with 22 T20Is for Australia under her belt, has showcased her versatility by picking up 10 wickets in 19 innings at an economy rate of 7.68. Additionally, she has contributed with the bat, scoring 97 runs in 10 innings, with a highest score of 22 not out.
