India have been blessed with quite a few power-hitters in T20I cricket.

The Indian Cricket Team are amongst the powerhouses of T20I cricket. They were the winners of the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup in 2007. This win started a chapter of intense T20 cricket in India and around the globe.

The explosive left-hander is the fastest to reach the milestone of 100 T20I sixes by deliveries faced (785 balls). His four sixes in 1st ENG vs IND T20I helped him join this list. He is the fifth Indian batter to do so, and currently has 102 sixes. With the way he is going, there are chances that he might go at the top of this list.

4. Virat Kohli (124 sixes)

Virat Kohli is the fastest Indian to reach 1000 T20I runs in merely 27 innings. He has shouldered the Indian T20 batting line-up for a long time. Kohli was also the Player of the Tournament in T20 World Cup 2016, for his 273-run campaign in 5 innings. He had a mind-blowing average of 136 in that tournament.

Kohli was also the Player of the Match in the final of ICC T20 World Cup 2024, when he scored 76 runs in the Final, anchoring the innings of the team. Overall, he has slammed 124 sixes, and sits fourth on this list.

3. Hardik Pandya (126 sixes)

One of India’s best white-ball all-rounders is the only lower order batsman in this list. He has been the power-hitter and finisher for the T20 team of India since his debut.

Hardik Pandya is the only T20 all-rounder to have more than 2000 runs and 100 wickets to his name. He was the orchestrator of India’s 2024 and 2026 T20 World Cup winning campaigns. He has also won 5 IPL titles in his career so far. Pandya has hit 126 sixes in his career so far, and would be keen to add more to his tally.

2. Suryakumar Yadav (179 sixes)

The batsman who redefined India’s T20 batting. He played 113 matches, and scored more than 3200 runs above the strike rate of 160. He has hit 179 sixes in his career so far.

Yadav is an ICC T20 World Cup winning captain, as he led India to victory in 2026. He was also instrumental in the 2024 winning campaign.

He has struck 29 sixes against New Zealand, and 25 each against Australia, South Africa and West Indies. He was a brilliant striker of the ball, and has 25 half centuries and 4 tons to his name.

Rohit Sharma is T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025 winning captain. He is one of the best white-ball skippers the country has seen. His six-hitting ability is well known.

He has the most sixes in ODI history (363*), second highest in the IPL history (323*) and second highest in T20I history (205). He is India’s leading six-hitter in T20Is by a mile.

Sharma has hit 39 sixes against West Indies in merely 22 innings, 29 against Australia, and 27 against New Zealand in 22 innings. He has amassed more than 4200 runs for India in this format.
