Abhishek Sharma slammed a half-century against Bangladesh in the Super Four clash.

Indian Cricket Team opener Abhishek Sharma broke a massive record of Rohit Sharma during the Super Four clash of Asia Cup 2025 against Bangladesh Cricket Team on Wednesday, September 24 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. The left-handed batsman surpassed Rohit in the list of most sixes in a multi-nation T20I tournament for India.

Abhishek Sharma continued his golden touch in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 as he yet again provided his team with a brutal start. He slammed 75 runs off 37 balls after the Men in Blue were asked to bat first in the encounter. Abhishek’s innings was laced with six boundaries and five sixes as he batted with a strike rate of over 202, dominating opposition with his aggressive batting.

Abhishek, with the way he was battling, looked all set for a big ton but he bagged an unlucky dismissal in the encounter, facing a run-out while attempting to take a quick single. This was his second consecutive half-century in Asia Cup 2025. In their previous game, he scored a 74-run knock against Pakistan.
