Abhishek Sharma-led Amritsar Soormas post a huge total of 258 in their first match.
The Sher-e-Punjab T20 League, Punjab’s first franchise-based T20 league, kicked off with the opening match between Amritsar Soormas and Mohali Kings. The league features several cricket superstars from Punjab, as well as emerging cricketers from the state.
Abhishek Sharma, who has been one of the most dangerous T20 players in the world over the past few years and was also part of India’s T20 World Cup-winning team, is captaining Amritsar Soormas. After the wicket of Abhishek, there were a few great cameos from the likes of Naman Dhir, Rahul Kumar and Abhay Chaudhary, and Amritsar reached a score of 258 runs at the end of 20 overs.
