The biggest moment came in 2026 when India won the T20 World Cup on home soil. The victory also made India the first team to win the men’s T20 World Cup in two successive editions.
India also won two Asia Cup titles during Agarkar’s tenure. The first came in 2023 in the ODI format, while India won the 2025 Asia Cup in the T20 format.
India also won gold in men’s T20 cricket at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou. The team was led by Ruturaj Gaikwad in the tournament. Also, they achieved the feat in 2026 under Shreyas Iyer. Another major result came in the 2023 ODI World Cup. India reached the final but lost to Australia in Ahmedabad.
