IPL 2026: List of all matches to be played in Week 3
RCB are currently at the top of the IPL 2026 points table.
The Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) has witnessed an exciting start with a few high-scoring games. Teams like Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Delhi Capitals (DC), and Punjab Kings (PBKS) have been unbeaten so far, winning both of their opening games.
Gujarat Titans (GT), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have faced dismal starts and still aim for their first win of the tournament. Out of them, CSK have looked the most vulnerable after facing three defeats in a row.
This week, a total of nine games will take place, including double-headers on weekends. KKR and PBKS were scheduled to clash on Monday; however, the match was abandoned due to rain.
On Tuesday, RR and MI will clash in Guwahati’s tricky pitch. It will be a big challenge for young RR skipper Riyan Parag, who will face an experienced MI squad with a few regular players of the Indian team.
It will be followed by the DC vs GT clash on Wednesday and the KKR vs LSG game on Thursday. On Friday, the current table toppers RR and RCB will clash with each other.
Virat Kohli vs Rohit Sharma clash on Sunday
Saturday and Sunday will have doubleheaders. The much-awaited game of this week will be the MI vs RCB clash on Sunday night at Wankhede Stadium. Batting legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will play against each other in the encounter and will be in the spotlight.
While RCB have dominated with one-sided victories in both games so far, Hardik Pandya & Co. are a lethal unit at their home stadium. Despite RCB’s huge fan following throughout the country, MI fans are expected to outnumber them at Wankhede Stadium.
