The most successful team in the IPL in terms of title wins, Mumbai Indians (MI), have won the title 5 times since its inception. MI won their first title in the 6th edition of the tournament beating the then 2-time champions CSK in the final of IPL 2013. They went on to win four more titles in 2015,2017,2019 and 2020.
