The MI vs RCB clash will take place on April 12 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to clash with the Mumbai Indians (MI) in match 20 of the Indian Premier League 2026. The encounter will take place on April 12 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
MI are a strong team at home; therefore, RCB will face a strong challenge to outplay them in their upcoming game. In their previous IPL 2026 encounter, the defending champions suffered a massive defeat at the hands of the Rajasthan Royals (RR).
RCB suffered a batting collapse at the start, losing six wickets before 100 runs on the scoreboard. Their bowlers remained helpless and failed to dominate RR batters.
Hence, a few changes are expected in their playing XI for the clash against the Mumbai Indians. Below are all possible changes RCB can make to their playing XI.
All possible changes in RCB’s 11 against MI-
Jacob Bethell over Phil Salt

Phil Salt got out for single digits in two games out of three. He grabbed a golden duck in the last game, which gave a big blow to RCB at the start. They also have another powerful batter, Jacob Bethell, who is in brilliant form.
He scored a century against India during the T20 World Cup 2026 at Wankhede Stadium. Hence, Bethell might be picked as an opener alongside Virat Kohli in the upcoming game.
Mangesh Yadav over Abhinandan Singh

Pacer Abhinandan Singh made his debut in IPL 2026, but he has failed to impress with his performances. In the previous clash, he was too expensive and conceded 54 runs in just three overs. He is highly likely to be dropped against MI, and RCB can induct Mangesh Yadav as a replacement.
When and where will the MI vs RCB match take place?
The encounter will take place on Sunday, April 12, at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Who is captaining RCB in IPL 2026?
Rajat Patidar is the captain of RCB in the tournament.
