Virat Kohli smashed his 29th Test Century, equaling Don Bradman's tally of 29 Test centuries.
The second day of the second test between India and the West Indies is underway, and it truly belongs to Virat Kohli. The former Indian captain went on to score his 29th century and equal Sir Don Bradman's tally of 29 Test centuries in his career. Starting from his overnight score of 87, Virat looked good in the first session and completed his century with a boundary.
He was equally supported by Ravindra Jadeja, who also scored his 19th Test half-century. Both batters added 159 runs for the fifth wicket before Virat Kohli was run out. He made 121 runs off 206 balls, with 11 boundaries. It was only the third time that Virat was dismissed run-out in his entire test career. However, before getting out, he made sure that India are in the driving seat.

It was a long-awaited century for Virat Kohli. Notably, it took Virat five long years to score a hundred outside Asia. He also became the first batter to score a hundred in his 500th international match. The former Indian captain now has 76 centuries in 500 international games, going past Sachin Tendulkar's record of 75 centuries in 500 international games.
At such a landmark moment, Virat's wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also responded to the century moment. Notably, while celebrating his century, Virat was seen kissing his wedding ring as a heartwarming tribute to his wife. On the other hand, Anushka also posted a picture of Virat along with a heart emoji. That post went viral in a short time, and fans were seen showing love and wishes to the couple.

Many former cricketers and cricket pundits also reacted the superb century of Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, Jadeja also played a decent knock of 61 runs. Ishan Kishan was next to get out for a score of 25 runs. India have crossed the 400-run mark with two wickets in hands. It will be interesting to see how much the Indian tail can add to the score.
