Arshdeep Singh recently became first ever Indian bowler to take 100 T20I wickets.
After being part of India’s Asia Cup 2025 win and the recent T20I series win over Australia, pacer Arshdeep Singh has treated himself to some serious horsepower as he purchased the Mercedes-Benz Wagon G 63 SUV.
Arshdeep shared the good news on his Instagram account with photos and videos of him with his newest acquisition. The photos and videos also featured Arshdeep’s parents and family members.
His most recent vehicle features a shiny black exterior with crimson leather inside. The high-end SUV, which costs between INR 2.4 to 4.5 crores in India, including on-road expenses, is said to be a collector’s item. The five-seater car is cozy and suitable for Indian roads. According to information available on the internet, the vehicle has a mileage around 7 kmpl.
In addition, the left-arm pacer just customized a Toyota Fortuner. The changes were motivated by Lexus automobiles. The car’s look and interior were entirely redesigned, but its mechanical components stayed the same.
Arshdeep Singh was signed by the Punjab Kings at the IPL 2025 auction using an RTM card for INR 18 crores. He also has a central contract worth INR 1 crore as a retainer by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), apart from match fees and other endorsements.
Arshdeep Singh on a roll; becomes first Indian bowler to 100 T20I wickets
During the Australia tour, Arshdeep Singh participated in three T20Is and two One-Day Internationals, taking seven wickets in total. With 105 wickets in 67 innings at an average of 18.59 and a strike rate of 13.3 with two four-wicket hauls, he is already India’s highest wicket-taker in the game’s shortest format.
But because India experimented with different lineups and preferred Harshit Rana over him, the left-arm pacer was unable to play every game in the T20I series. However, Arshdeep played in Hobart, Canberra, and Brisbane after missing the first two games. The 26-year-old has participated in 11 ODIs in addition to T20Is, taking 17 wickets at an average of 23.17 and already claiming five wickets.
