Indian pacer’s latest Instagram reel catches fans attention
Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has caught fans attention with a new Instagram reel on October 28, 2026, featuring his girlfriend, Samreen Kaur, during India’s ongoing T20I tour of New Zealand. The video offers a glimpse into the couple’s time together away from cricket, with their affectionate interaction becoming a talking point on social media.
The reel captures a playful moment between the couple on a New Zealand street. As Samreen walks past Arshdeep, he reaches out to hold her hand and pulls her closer. The two then share a smile, making the short clip a romantic glimpse into their time together during the tour.
Rather than a cricket related update, the reel focuses on the Indian pacer’s personal life. Its timing has also drawn attention, as Arshdeep is currently with the Indian squad for the five-match T20I series against New Zealand.
The post comes shortly after Arshdeep made a humorous remark about his social media presence. Ahead of the third T20I, he joked during a pre-match interaction, “Reel-veelan ka daur gaya paaji, ab serious Arshdeep ban chuka hai,” suggesting that his reel making days were over. The new video has added an amusing twist to that comment, prompting fans to revisit his words.

Samreen is an actor and model who has appeared in projects including the film 83 and the web series Nail Polish.
Arshdeep Singh’s performance in the New Zealand T20I series
Away from the social media attention, Arshdeep Singh has also made headlines for his performances on the field. During the third T20I against New Zealand in Wellington, he dismissed opener Tim Seifert to reach 39 wickets in men’s T20Is in 2026, equaling Ireland’s Josh Little for the most wickets in a calendar year by a bowler from a Full Member nation. Arshdeep achieved the milestone in 30 matches, while Little had taken 39 wickets in 26 matches in 2022.
Arshdeep finished the third T20I with figures of 1/33 from four overs as New Zealand posted 198/3. India chased down the target in just 13.2 overs, winning by six wickets and taking an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
With two matches remaining, India will look to maintain their momentum on the field, while Arshdeep’s latest reel has given fans another glimpse of his life away from the game.
