Asia Cup 2025 final, IND vs PAK, took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

Indian Cricket Team and Pakistan Cricket Team locked horns in a thrilling Asia Cup 2025 final on Sunday, September 28, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. India crushed Pakistan by five wickets in the nail-biting clash to lift the Asia Cup 2025 title.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl first in the encounter. Pakistan openers Sahibzada Farhan (57) and Fakhar Zaman (46) gave a blistering start to the innings as Indian bowlers failed to get early wickets. The duo built an opening stand of 84 runs.

However, the rest of the batters failed to capitalise on their good start, losing their wickets cheaply. No. 3 Saim Ayub scored 14 runs, while all other batters lost their wickets for single digits. In the end, Pakistan were bowled out for 146 runs with five balls left to play.

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav ripped apart opposition batters with his four-wicket haul, while Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Axar Patel clinched two wickets each. During the chase, India faced a big blow at the start, losing top three batters Abhishek Sharma (5), Shubman Gill (12), and Suryakumar Yadav (1) cheaply within the first four overs.

Later, Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson (24) set up a crucial stand of 57 runs for the fourth wicket. Shivam Dube added quickfire 33 runs, while Varma (69*) went on to score a match-winning half-century to bring the team home in the last over.

Indian opener Abhishek Sharma finished as the highest run-scorer of Asia Cup 2025 with 314 runs. Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka is next with 261 runs. Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, who scored a fifty in Asia Cup 2025 final, grabs the third spot with 241 runs. Tilak Varma, who also hammered a fifty in the clash, finished fourth with 213 runs. Fakhar Zaman finished fifth with 181 runs.

Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi follows him next with 10 wickets. With nine wickets each, UAE pacer Junaid Siddique and Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman are next on the list. Haris Rauf occupies the fifth spot with an equal number of wickets.
