India defeated UAE by nine wickets in match 2 of Asia Cup 2025.

Indian Cricket Team locked horns with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their opening game of Asia Cup 2025 on Wednesday, September 10. India chased down a 58-run target in just 4.3 overs to register a huge victory in the clash by nine wickets. Openers Abhishek Sharma (30) and Shubman Gill (20*) helped the team to win the encounter like a walk in the park.

Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to field first in the match. UAE batters completely struggled against Indian bowlers, getting bowled out for just 57 runs in the first innings. Opener Alishan Sharafu scored 22 runs as many key batters lost their wickets for single digits.

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav clinched a four-wicket haul, while Shivam Dube captured three wickets. Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, and Varun Chakaravarthy took one scalp each.
