Super Four Match 5 of Asia Cup 2025, PAK vs BAN, took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

Bangladesh Cricket Team and Pakistan Cricket Team clashed with each other in their last game of the Super Four round of Asia Cup 2025 on Thursday, September 25 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 11 runs in the clash to book their berth in Asia Cup 2025 final, where they will lock horns with India on Sunday, September 28.

In the low-scoring thriller, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl first. Pakistan suffered a big blow in the first two overs, losing Sahibzada Farhan (4) and Saim Ayub (0) cheaply. Facing a batting collapse at the start, they were left reeling at 49/5 inside 11 overs.

With team under pressure, Mohammad Haris (31) and Mohammad Nawaz (25) scored crucial in the end runs to drive the scoreboard to 135/8, which at one moment seemed impossible.

During the chase, Bangladesh also lost their top order batters cheaply as Saif Hasan (18), Parvez Hossain Emon (0), Towhid Hridoy (5), and Mahedi Hasan (11) failed to go big with the bat. The Tigers were left at 73/6.

Shamim Hossain kept the winning hopes alive with his 30 runs, however, he lost his wicket at a crucial moment. Eventually, Bangladesh finished with 124/9 on the scoreboard as Pakistan completed a brilliant 11-run win with Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf clinching three wickets each.
