India registered their second win of Asia Cup 2025 with a victory over Pakistan in Dubai.

The Indian Cricket Team continued their brilliant run in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 as they thumped the Pakistan Cricket Team by seven wickets in match six of the tournament. The Dubai International Stadium saw Indian dominance with the bat and ball as the Suryakumar Yadav-led team became the first team to qualify for the Super Four stage.

Pakistan had a worst possible start to their innings as Saim Ayub bagged a golden duck on the first ball of the innings. In the next over, Jasprit Bumrah removed Mohammad Haris for three as the Men in Green were reduced to six for two in no time. After that, Sahibzada Farhan (40) and Fakhar Zaman (17) tried to bring the team back on track with their 39-run stand for the third wicket.

However, the introduction of spinners, especially Kuldeep Yadav, changed things completely. The wrist spinner returned with the figures of three for 18 as Pakistan were left tottering at 97 for eight.

With the team struggling, Shaheen Afridi (33*) played a brilliant cameo, taking his team to a total of 127 for nine. Apart from Kuldeep, Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah also bagged two scalps each for India.

Abhishek Sharma (31) yet again started aggressively, hitting Shaheen Afridi for four and a six on the first two balls of the chase. Shubman Gill, for his ten, also played crisp shots but perished early, with Saim Ayub ending the 22-run opening stand of India.

Abhishek kept hitting hard till he was removed by Ayub in the fourth over. After that, Tilak Varma (31) and Suryakumar Yadav carried on the momentum and made Pakistan bowlers look clueless. The Tilak-Surya added 56 runs for the third wicket to put one step past the finishing line.

Skipper Suryakumar (47*), along with Shivam Dube (10*), stayed till the end and ensured that he takes his team home as India won the game by seven wickets.
