Asia Cup 2025 venues announced, India vs Pakistan to take place in Dubai

The India vs Pakistan match of Asia Cup 2025 will take place in Dubai on September 14.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC), on Saturday, August 2, announced the venues for the Asia Cup 2025. Dubai and Abu Dhabi will host all the matches of the tournament, where the games will begin from 7:30 PM IST. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host the final of the eight-nation event on September 28.
The India vs Pakistan clash on September 14 will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. India’s opening clash against the UAE will also take place in Dubai on September 10. The Men in Blue will play their last match of the group stage against Oman at Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on September 19.
Asai Cup 2025 will begin on September 9 and a total of eight teams will be part of it. India, Pakistan, Oman, UAE, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong will battle for the title in the tournament.

Meanwhile, India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman are part of Group A. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong are placed in Group B. Each team will face the other team in their pool once during the group stage.

Two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Four round, where every team will play three matches. The top two teams in the points table will book a berth in the final. A total of 19 matches will be played during the Asia Cup 2025.
India are the defending champions of the tournament. In the previous edition in 2023, they defeated Sri Lanka in the final. Unlike the last edition, which was played in ODI format, Asia Cup 2025 will be played in T20 format.
