Cricket Australia (CA) on Tuesday, 7th October revealed Australian Cricket Team squad for first two T20Is of the five-match series against Indian Cricket Team. Both sides will lock horns in five T20Is from October 29 to November 8, which will see Mitchell Marsh lead the side.
In a massive blow for the hosts, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been ruled out of the series after undergoing a surgery on his fractured wrist last week. He injured his wrist when he got hit off Mitchell Owen’s shot in nets ahead of their T20I series in New Zealand. Moreover, Josh Inglis has returned to the side replacing Alex Carey after recovering from calf strain.
Pacer Nathan Ellis has also returned to the team following the birth of his first child. However, all-rounder Cameron Green has not been named in the T20I squad as he will continue his preparations for The Ashes 2025-26 with his state side right after the ODI series against India.

The next three games are scheduled to be played on November 2, 6, and 8. Ahead of the T20I series, both sides will clash in a three-match ODI series from October 19 to 25.
