Australian Cricket Team will play a T20I series against Pakistan in a warm-up series before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The Australian men will start their year with the final test match remaining in the Ashes 2025-26 against England. They have already retained the Ashes at home with a series score of 3-1; however, another win would give Australia a healthy lead in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 standings.

Soon, they will travel to Asia for a three-match T20I series against Pakistan as a warm-up for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka in February and March, as the Aussies aim to win their second title.

Australia under-19 team will begin their title defence in the U-19 World Cup, scheduled to take place in Zimbabwe and Namibia from January 15 to February 6.

Meanwhile, the Aussie women will host the Indian cricket team at home for a multi-format series in February and March. After a three-match T20I and three-match ODI series, India’s tour will conclude with a day and night test match at the WACA Ground.

Later, they will feature in a multi-format series against the West Indies women, which includes one Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is. In June, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will get underway.

On the other hand, the Aussie men will play against Pakistan and Bangladesh in June before eventually returning to play in Darwin and Mackay in August. Interestingly, Mackay’s Great Barrier Reef Arena will become Australia’s 12th Test venue.

Australia will continue their One-Day International journey against Zimbabwe and South Africa until October, when they will also play three Test matches against the Proteas. After playing a T20I and ODI series against England, the Aussies will conclude the year with a Test series against their trans-Tasman rivals, New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the Aussie women will feature in three ODIs and three T20Is against Bangladesh before visiting Sri Lanka for an ODI series in December.
