Mitchell Marsh-led Australia are grouped with India in the Super 8 round.
Australia had a dominating group stage in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. They won all their four group stage matches to top the Group B standings and enter the Super 8 round on a high.
The Mitchell Marsh-led side started their campaign with a 39-run victory over Oman. Their statement wins came against England, by 36 runs, and Namibia, by 9 wickets. They scraped hard against Scotland in their last group game to secure a hard-fought win.
Who are Australia’s opponents in Super 8?
Australia are placed in Group 1 of the Super Eight round. They will face India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
Australia’s schedule for Super 8:
In the Super Eight round, Marsh’s team will first face Bangladesh on June 20. Then they will meet Afghanistan on June 22, followed by an exciting contest against India on June 24.

The Australia vs India match will take place at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia.
