Cameron Green returns as Australia announce squad for ICC WTC 2023-25 final

South Africa and Australia will battle in the ICC WTC 2023-25 final at Lord’s.
Cricket Australia (CA) has announced their squad for the much-awaited ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 final. The ICC WTC 2023-25 final will be played between Australia and South Africa. The encounter will begin on June 11 at Lord’s in London.
South Africa and Australia finished in the top two spots in the ICC WTC 2023-25 points table after playing a six-test series each. South Africa topped the points table with a win percentage of 69.44. Out of 12 tests, they won eight games, lost three, and one ended in a draw.
On the other hand, Australia finished in second place with a win percentage of 67.54. Out of 19 matches, they won 13 and lost four. Two games ended in a draw. Australia are the defending champion of the tournament.

Australia has announced a 15-member squad for the ICC WTC 2023-25 final. Pat Cummins will lead the team while all-rounder Cameron Green returns to the Test team after more than a year. He last played a test match for Australia against New Zealand in March 2024. Below is Australia’s full squad for the ICC WTC 2023-25 final.

Meanwhile, the South African cricket Team has yet to announce their squad for the clash. Notably, Australia has also nominated the same squad for the forthcoming test series against the West Indies.
After the ICC WTC final is completed, Pat Cummins & Co. will tour the West Indies for a test and T20I series starting June 25. During the tour, Australia will clash with the West Indies in three tests and five T20Is. The series will conclude with the fifth T20I game on July 27.
