Australia, on Wednesday, 4th June, announced their squad for the forthcoming T20I series against the West Indies. Mitchell Owen has earned his maiden national call-up to the T20I side following his wonderful batting show in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25 earlier this year. Moreover, opener Jake Fraser-McGurk has been dropped from the squad owing to his series of flop shows in recent times.

Left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann is set to make his T20I debut. Experienced spinner Adam Zampa will lead the spin attack for the side.
