Two Indian-origin players included in Australia U19 squad for India series

Aryan Sharma and Yash Deshmukh are the two Indian-origin cricketers in the Australia U19 squad.
Cricket Australia has announced a strong squad for the series against India U19. The two young teams will be in action in the three 50-over matches and two four-day matches, set to be played in Brisbane and Mackay.
The Australia U19 team will be captained by Steve Hogan, and it will be the first assignment for Tim Nielsen, who was appointed as the head coach of the team. The series is part of Cricket Australia’s long-term player development strategy and will help players prepare for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2026.
Two Indian-origin players, Aryan Sharma and Yash Deshmukh, have been named in the team as well. While Sharma plays for Victoria as a batter, Yash is an all-rounder for New South Wales. They were picked in collaboration with state talent managers.

India U19 squad for the Australia tour

Recently, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian squad for the Australia tour. The team will be captained by Ayush Mhatre and will feature the likes of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Vihaan Malhotra, who is the vice-captain, and others.

Australia U-19 vs India U-19 Schedule
The India U19 tour to Australia will begin with three 50-over games, beginning on 21st September. The last two games will be played on the 24th and 26th, respectively. All three games will be played in Brisbane.
Following the white-ball games, the first four-day day will begin on 30th October in Brisbane. Mackay will host the second match from 7-10th October.
