Josh Hazlewood and Spencer Johnson will miss Australia’s T20I series against the West Indies.
The Australian Cricket Team have made two changes to their squad for the upcoming T20I series against the West Indies Cricket Team. Following the ongoing test series, both teams will lock horns in a five-match T20I series.
The first two T20I games will be played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica, on July 20 and 22, respectively. The next three games will be played on July 25, 26, and 28. The venue of the last three T20I encounters is Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts.
Australia have already earned a 2-0 lead in the ongoing three-match test series. They won the first test by 159 runs and the second test by 133 runs. The third test will begin on July 12 at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.

Notably, pacer Josh Hazlewood has been rested for the T20I series and will return home. He will prepare for the white-ball series against South Africa next month. Pacer Spencer Johnson is recovering from his back issue. Hence, he has also been removed from the squad.
In their place, Jake Fraser-McGurk and pacer Xavier Bartlett have been called in as replacements. Mitchell Marsh will lead the visitors in the T20I series.
