India will clash with Australia in three ODIs and five T20Is in October-November 2025.
Tickets for two forthcoming games between India and Australia have been sold out within just two weeks after being released. The Indian Cricket Team will tour Australia for a white-ball series later in October this year, which will see both sides clash in three ODI matches and five T20I games.
The ODI series will commence from October 19 in Perth. The next two games will be played on October 23 in Adelaide and October 25 in Sydney. The five-match T20I series will begin with the first match on October 29 at Manuka Oval, Canberra. The series will conclude on November 8 with the fifth T20I encounter at The Gabba, Brisbane.
Tickets for one ODI and one T20I game between India and Australia sold out
Interestingly, the tickets for the third ODI at Sydney Cricket Ground on October 25 and the first T20I at Manuka Oval, Canberra on October 29 have been sold out, almost four months ahead of schedule. According to Cricket Australia (CA), 16 per cent of the tickets were purchased by Indian fan clubs.
“Exhausting our public ticket allocation for the SCG ODI and Manuka Oval T20I four months before the series is a testament to the tremendous interest in the upcoming season amongst cricket fans,” Koel Morrison, CA’s Executive General Manager Events & Operations, said in an official statement.
“We are thrilled to see continued strong engagement among the Indian diaspora following a record-breaking Border-Gavaskar series last summer. The forecast strong turnout of both Australian and Indian fans means we’ll again enjoy a fantastic atmosphere at each match”, he further added.
Notably, the Bharat Army has bought more than 2400 tickets, while fans based in India have bought over 1400 tickets. The Indian Community of Gold Coast and Pakka Local have acquired more than 500 tickets for the Gold Coast and MCG T20Is, respectively.
