Bangladesh, led by Litton Das, have played two games in the tournament. They crushed Hong Kong by seven wickets in their opening game, chasing down a 144-run target by seven wickets with a half-century by captain Das (59).

In their second game, Bangladesh lost to Sri Lanka by six wickets. After being asked to bat first, Litton Das & Co. piled up 139/5 after key batters lost their wickets for single digits. Later, opener Pathum Nissanka (50) slammed a half-century to propel Sri Lanka to an easy victory.

Both Afghanistan and Bangladesh have two points in their kitty. However, Bangladesh have played two games and need to outplay Afghanistan to better their chances for a top two finish in the group B points table.
