Bangladesh Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2026, Fixtures, Dates, Venues

Bangladesh will take on the West Indies in their opening game of ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
After a long wait, the schedule of ICC T20 World Cup 2026 was revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday, November 25. The 20-nation tournament will begin on 7th February and will run till 8th March.
This will be only the second time that the ICC T20 World Cup will see 20 teams taking part in it. The format for the tournament remains the same as it was in the last edition. The league stage will be followed by the Super Eight stage, semi-final and the final.
With ICC T20 World Cup 2026 set to take place in the Asian sub-continent, Bangladesh will be underdogs heading into the tournament. They have been performing well in T20Is but, haven’t been able to make a big impact yet in the tournament.
Bangladesh reached the Super Eight stage in the last edition but failed to get past that. They will have a great opportunity to turn things around and win their maiden ICC T20 World Cup title.
Bangladesh are placed in Group C of ICC T20 World Cup 2026

Bangladesh are placed in Group C along with the West Indies, England, Nepal and Italy. They will be one of be favourites to go into Super Eight stage, but they will need to bring their best as they have strong teams in their group.
Bangladesh will open their campaign against the West Indies on February 7 in Kolkata. Their next clash will be against Italy at the same venue on February 9. On February 14, they will take on England and then after that, they will move to Mumbai to take on Nepal in their last league game on February 17.
