RR finished as runners-up in the league and Buttler was the leading force behind their batting unit, smacking four centuries and four fifties. The right-handed batter also won the Orange Cap by scoring 863 runs in the tournament.

4. Chris Gayle- 51 (2013)

Chris Gayle, who is considered as one of the most destructive openers to have played in IPL. Playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2013, the left-handed batsman hammered 51 sixes in 16 games. He also hit 57 fours in that season and finished as the second-highest run-scorer with 708 runs.
