BBL 2023-24: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 12 and 13
Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes won their encounters in the BBL 2023-24 points table.
It wasn’t a great day for Melbourne in the Big Bash League season 2023-24 as both of their city-based team got defeated on Saturday. Sydney Thunder defeated Melbourne Stars in the afternoon game by 5 wickets while in the evening, Hobart Hurricanes thrashed Melbourne Renegades by 6 wickets. Both, Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricane get their first win of the BBL 2023-24 season.
Syndey Thunder pacer Zaman Khan (3/24) shines for Thunder in the afternoon game and bowled a magnificent spell to put his side on top. Alex Hales also contibuted with his 40 runs knock in Thunder’s victory. It was a wonderful day for Mathew Wade (82) and Macalister Wright (63) who added 140 runs for the second wicket for Hobart to help them chase 184 runs at Blundstone Arena.
BBL 2023-24: Points Table
After a dominating win over Melbourne Stars, Sydney Thunder moved up in the points table to 5th place while Hobart Hurricane also opened their account. Hobart Hurricane defeated Melbourne Renegades comprehensively to get their first win of the season. Hobart moves to the 6th place in the points table. Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricane both end the day with two points each.
BBL 2023-24: Most Runs
Brisbane Heat opener Colin Munro is leading the leading run-scorer tally with 157 runs in 3 innings. Adelaide Strikers skipper Mathew Short is second in the table with 137 runs in 2 innings. Sydney Thunder opener Cameron Bancroft has jumped up to third place with his 30 runs knock against Stars. Bancroft has 129 runs in 3 innings. Perth’s Aaron Hardie is 4th in the list with 125 runs. Sixers Jordan Silk is 5th in the table with 115 runs.

BBL 2023-24: Most Wickets
After the 12th league game in the BBL 2023-24, Perth’s left-armer Jason Behrendorff remains table-topper with 7 wickets. Then comes Brisbane Heat domination with Paul Walter at 2nd, Xavier Bartlett at 3rd and leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson at 4th place with 6 wickets each in BBL tournament so far.
