BBL 2023-24: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 24 and 25

Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers won their respective games on Wednesday in the BBL 2023-24.

Mathew Short’s valiant knock of 74 runs was not enough for Adelaide Strikers as they lost the match against Perth Scorchers by 42 runs. Laurie Evans’ 85 off 28 balls proved crucial for Scorchers as they remain unbeaten along with Brisbane Heat in BBL 2023-24. Evans smashed 7 fours and 7 sixes in his short stay at the crease and took Scorchers’ score to 211 runs in 20 overs. Adelaide Strikers suffered their fourth loss in a row in BBL 2023-24.

Earlier in the day, Brisbane Heat defeated Sydney Sixers in the afternoon game via Duckworth Lewis-Stern (DLS) method. Heat won the game against Sixers by 3 runs (DLS method).
