BBL 2023-24: Points table, most runs, most wickets after Match 18th REN vs STR
Melbourne Renegades defeated Adelaide Strikers by 4 wickets in the 18th match of BBL 2023-24.
Melbourne Renegades have outclassed Adelaide Strikers in a big chase of 178 runs at Docklands Stadium in Melbourne. Renegades batter Jake Fraser-Mcgurk (70) and veteran Shaun Marsh (54) played magnificent knocks in Renegades’ win against Strikers in match 18 of the BBL 2023-24. Renegades registered their first win of the season with 8 balls to spare.
Adelaide Strikers posted 177 runs on the board in 20 overs. D’Arcy Short (54) and Chris Lynn (56) had a decent stand of 82 runs for the second wicket and paved the way for Strikers to aim at a challenging total. Renegades came back nicely in the middle overs and restricted Strikers to 177 runs. Renegades’ Mujeeb Ur Rahman picked up 3 wickets and conceded just 20 runs.
