BCCI ropes in associate sponsors for home bilateral games; 3 BIG companies win bids; Know here

BCCI reportedly has finalised deal with three big companies.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a major step ahead of the upcoming home assignments. The governing body was actively looking for the title and associate sponsors for home games after the previous title sponsorship ended in August 2026.

The BCCI invited bids for the title sponsorship and associate partner rights in July. The sponsors will cover India’s international matches as well as domestic tournaments such as the Ranji Trophy

After inviting the bids, the BCCI had set August 13 as the deadline for submitting bids for the title sponsorship, and August 25 as the deadline for associate partner quotations. However, the deadline was extended to September 7 as the board was yet to finalise a title sponsor.

In what has been the latest development, as per reports in the Economic Times, the BCCI has roped in Campa Cola, SBI Life and ChatGPT as associate partners for home games of the Indian Cricket Team.

The deal covers 35 matches and will run until March 2028. As per the reports, Campa Cola was the highest bidder for the associate partner rights, offering ₹1.31 crore per match. Also, ChatGPT and SBI Life bid at ₹1.2 crore per match each.

Campa Cola was involved in a bidding war with Bisleri and Indian Oil Corporation, both of which submitted bids of ₹1.2 crore per match. However, it was Campa Cola, that won the bid at ₹1.31 crore per match.

While BCCI has roped in associate partners, it is expected that they will soon finalise the title sponsors as well. The governing body’s decision to separate title and associate sponsors has allowed them to move ahead with securing commercial partners even as the larger title rights package remains open.
