ENG vs IND: BCCI provides HUGE update on injuries in Indian camp, Anshul Kamboj officially added to squad, Nitish Kumar Reddy ruled out of the series

BCCI has added Anshul Kamboj to the Indian squad for the last two tests against England.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has provided a massive update about the Indian squad ahead of the fourth test against the England Cricket Team. The game between the two teams will be played at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester from 23rd July.
Following several reports of injuries in the Indian camp, the BCCI confirmed that Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the entire series. The all-rounder suffered a left knee injury and will soon be flying back home for recovery. He played a crucial role for the team in the third test at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
Not only this, the BCCI also confirmed that Arshdeep Singh has been ruled out of the upcoming fourth test. The left-arm pacer suffered an injury to his left thumb while bowling in the nets at a training session in Beckenham.
Releasing the official statement, BCCI stated:
“All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the remaining two Tests owing to a left knee injury. Nitish will fly back home and the team wishes him a speedy recovery.”
“Arshdeep Singh has been ruled out of the fourth Test against England at Manchester. He sustained an impact injury to his left thumb while bowling in the nets at a training session in Beckenham. The BCCI Medical Team is monitoring his progress.”
Anshul Kamboj added to the Indian squad for the last two tests

The governing body also confirmed that they have added Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj to the squad for the last two games. There have been several reports that he might make his test debut in Manchester, as Akash Deep is also struggling with a back issue.
The BCCI stated: “The Men’s Selection Committee has added Anshul Kamboj to the squad. Kamboj has joined the team in Manchester. The fourth Test will kickstart on July 23, 2025.”
