Prasidh Krishna will most likely be India’s second pacer going into the match. He took 14 wickets in the three matches played in England, including two crucial 4-wicket hauls in the fifth test.

1. Mohammed Siraj
Since his debut, Mohammed Siraj has emerged as India’s leading pacer in the red ball format. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, he has taken over the responsibility of fast bowling and was also the highest wicket-taker in Tests for India in 2025.
Siraj comes after a blazing IPL 2026, in which he picked 19 wickets for the Gujarat Titans. Being the senior-most pacer in the side, Siraj will lead from the front and pick early wickets.
