India and Pakistan have qualified for the semi-final of Women’s Asia Cup 2026.
The ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2026 is approaching its knockout stages. Three out of four semifinal spots have been filled, and one spot is open to grab. Team India entered the tournament with a tag of favorites.
They have performed in that way in the group stage. Harmanpreet Kaur and co. have been undefeated, winning three out of three matches. They have not just won the matches but made a clear statement.
India beat Thailand Women by 94 runs in the first game and followed it up by a massive win by 137 runs in the second game. Then, they humiliated arch-rival Pakistan Women by dismissing them for their lowest T20I total of 55 runs.
India Women won that game by seven wickets and 11.2 overs to spare. With this, India have qualified for the semifinals from Group A. The loss against India did hurt Pakistan’s chances for the semis. But they managed a 72-run win over Hong Kong Women in their final group game to make it to the semifinal.

India and Pakistan have qualified for the knockout from Group A. These two teams will now face the other two qualified teams from Group B. The second semifinal will be played between Pakistan Women and Sri Lanka Women on September 11.
