Rajasthan Royals' wicket-keeper Sanju Samson and 2 fielders, Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel tried to catch but failed to do so.

In a battle for Number One, IPL 2022 finalists are taking on each other. Runners-up Rajasthan Royals and defending Champions Gujarat Titans have continued their dominance in the league in the IPL 2023 as well. After an injury scare in the last game, Trent Boult made his comeback against Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Boult after bowling two double-wicket maiden overs this season, has again picked up a wicket in his first over of the game. Kiwi pacer Trent Boult sent back Wriddhiman Saha into the dugout. Saha’s catch almost became a comedy of error between Royals fielders but somehow Boult himself had to come in and rescue the Royals from a blunder.

In Titans vs Royals, Saha’s catch is going viral on social media. In the first over of the game, Saha mistimed Boult's full-length ball and skied it for a long distance. In between three fielders Dhruv Jurel from cover, Shimron Hetmyer from fine leg, and Wicket-keeper Sanju Samson came forward to take the catch. When the ball came in close Jurel collided with Sanju and the ball popped up from Sanju’s gloves again. Boult was in the near distance watching this mayhem. Soon he jumped in to pick up a catch which was almost dropped due to a misunderstanding between RR fielders.

Gujarat Titans lost Saha in the third ball of their innings. After this incident, this video has gone viral on Social Media. Rajasthan Royals bowlers had controlled the Gujarat Titans batting after they picked up two early wickets in the game. Along with Trent Boult, Pacer Sandeep Sharma also had a great game with the ball. Whoever wins among these two teams on Sunday night will go top of the table.
