India has become the first nation to make a soft-landing on South Pole of the Moon with success of ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission.

‘Jai Ho’, and ‘Jai Hind’, chants are all around the country to celebrate the success of India’s 3rd Lunar mission. India became the fourth country to make a soft-landing on the moon and the first nation in the world to explore the South Pole of the moon. Indians are jubilant around the world. ISRO scientists have made the country proud, and countrymen are in line to credit the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for their successful operation. Indian cricketers have also come forward to celebrate India’s success in a big mission.

The BCCI secretary, Jay Shah, tweeted about the success of India’s Pragyan setting foot on the South Pole of the moon. Shah tweeted, “A historic moment that will resonate for generations to come! Heartfelt congratulations to ISRO on the triumphant landing of Chandrayaan-3. A remarkable feat that fills us all with inspiration through their steadfast commitment and exceptional accomplishment.”

Indian captain Rohit Sharma also tweeted with joy. Rohit reacted, “The first national to reach the lunar south pole. That’s got a nice ring to it. A proud moment for each one of us, and a big congratulations to ISRO for all their efforts.”

Former Indian opener Sachin Tendulkar tweeted, “Vijayi Vishwa Tiranga Pyara, Jhanda Uncha Rahe Humara. ISRO represents the best of India. Humble, hardworking women and men are coming together, overcoming challenges, and making our tricolour fly high. India must celebrate and congratulate the Chandrayaan-2 team. Every hard landing has lessons that take us closer to a soft landing on the moon and life.”

The Indian cricket fraternity was also over the moon after India’s mission to touch the moon was successful with a soft landing on the Lunar South Pole. The Indian team in Ireland also watched the ISRO and India’s success live at The Village Ground in Malahide. They were preparing for the final T20I game against Ireland. All of the Indian squad members were glued to the TV and were watching ISRO’s success live in Ireland.
