As per the reports in Revsportz,, Chennai Super Kings are considering trading Rahul Chahar, who is a leg-spinner, to Delhi Capitals for Ashutosh Sharma, who plays in the middle order. The reports still have no confirmations from the franchises involved, as well as the IPL.
It makes sense as far as the needs of both teams go. After Kuldeep Yadav joined Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the Capitals have lost their primary left-arm wrist-spinner and are looking to strengthen their spin department. If the deal goes through, Chahar will be a possible fit.
From CSK’s point of view, Ashutosh Sharma is a player who can add a finishing option from India to their batting line-up. This right-handed batsman is known for his aggressive batting in the death overs and is one of the promising Indian finishers in T20 cricket.
