Prasidh Krishna got ruled out of 3rd ODI with hamstring injury.
India have already won the three-match ODI series against West Indies after taking a 2-0 lead. The third and final ODI will be played on October 3 in New Chandigarh.
India will have to make one change for the final game. Prasidh Krishna will miss the match after picking up a hamstring injury during the second ODI in Guwahati, as per ESPNCricinfo.
Prasidh bowled only five overs before leaving the field. He did not return to the match after that. The injury is now a concern for India as the team prepares for the final game. With Prasidh unavailable, the team needs another pacer in the squad for the match in New Chandigarh.

As per the Sportstar report, Anshul Kamboj is likely to replace Prasidh Krishna in India’s squad for the third ODI. Kamboj was playing for India A against Australia A in an unofficial Test in Puducherry. He has now left the match after getting the call-up from the senior team.
The pacer took 3/34 from 17.3 overs in the first innings. He then bowled only two overs in the second innings before leaving the ground. Praful Hinge replaced him in the India A playing XI.
The report also claimed that Prasidh will miss the third ODI because of his hamstring injury. He will now report to the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru for further scans.
Kamboj played for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2026. He took 21 wickets in 14 matches during the season. India have already sealed the series, but Kamboj could now get a chance to play in the final ODI against West Indies on October 3.
With the series already decided, India may also look at their bowling combination in the final ODI. The team could use the match to give another pacer an opportunity and manage the workload of the players ahead of the upcoming T20I series.
For Kamboj, the call-up is another step forward in his career. He will now join the senior squad after leaving the India A game midway. If selected, the third ODI could give him his first chance to represent India in the 50-over format.
