Meanwhile, Mhatre bagged a duck in the opening game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) but made a wonderful comeback against Punjab. CSK are desperate for a victory in IPL 2026 after losing their opening game against RR.
They lost the clash by eight wickets after getting out for just 127 runs in the first innings. The Ruturaj Gaikwad & Co. are placed in the last spot in the points table with 0 points.
