PSL 2026: Major update on David Warner & Adam Zampa's joining date with Karachi Kings

David Warner and Adam Zampa have been given a break by Karachi Kings.
Karachi Kings have made a spectacular start in Pakistan Super League 2026 as they won three games on a trot. The David Warner-led side defeated Quetta Gladiators in their opening game by 14 runs.
Later, they defeated Lahore Qalandars in a low-scoring clash in their second game. Lahore posted 128/9 in the first innings and Kings chased the target in the final over, thanks to Muhammed Waseem’s valuable knock.
In their third game, Karachi chased down a 198-run target against Rawalpindiz. Bowling first, they halted Rawalpindiz at 197/6 and then chased down the target by five wickets. Karachi will next clash with Peshawar Zalmi on April 9.
Ahead of their next game, the franchise gave a short break to a few players. David Warner, Adam Zampa, Azam Khan, and Hasan Ali were released from the squad.
All of them have been given a break for personal reasons. For instance, Warner will spend time with his family. Zampa will go on a vacation, while Ali will attend a family function.

Notably, all the players will return to the squad ahead of their next game. Hence, they will be available for Kings’ next encounter against Peshawar on April 9.
Meanwhile, with three wins in a row, Karachi Kings have moved to the top spot in the PSL 2026 points table with six points. They are followed by Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans in the next two spots with four points each.
Azam Khan and David Warner are the most successful batters for the team with 102 and 93 runs respectively. Hasan Ali is the top wicket-taker of the tournament with eight wickets.
