24. Rasikh Dar – ₹20 lakhs:

Rasikh Dar was purchased by DC for ₹20 lakh during the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining DC, he had played for Mumbai Indians (2019) and Kolkata Knight Riders (2022). However, his IPL career has been limited to just 3 games thus far.

23. Swastik Chhikara – ₹20 lakhs:

Swastik Chhikara was acquired by DC for Rs. 20 lakh at the IPL 2024 auction. This marks his debut in the IPL, and he will be eager to make a significant impact in IPL 2024 if given the opportunity to play.

22. Ricky Bhui – ₹20 lakhs:

Ricky Bhui was purchased by DC for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining DC, he represented Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2017 to 2019, but with limited IPL appearances, featuring in just two matches. Bhui aims to leave a lasting impact in IPL 2024 whenever he gets the chance to take the field.

21. Vicky Ostwal – ₹20 lakhs:

Vicky Ostwal was acquired by DC for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Despite being part of DC since then, he hasn’t had the opportunity to make his debut in the IPL. Nonetheless, DC retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price.

20. Abhishek Porel – ₹20 lakhs:

Abhishek Porel was brought into DC as a replacement for Rishabh Pant, who was sidelined due to injury during the 2023 IPL season. Porel featured in 4 matches last season. He got retained by DC for the IPL 2024 at a price of 20 lakhs.

19. Jake Fraser-McGurk – ₹50 lakhs:

DC acquired Australia’s Jake Fraser-McGurk as Lungisani Ngidi’s replacement after the South African pacer got ruled out of the tournament. DC roped in Fraser-McGurk at his base price of Rs. 50 lakhs for the IPL 2024.

18. Yash Dhull – ₹50 lakhs:

Yash Dhull was acquired by DC at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 50 lakhs. Although he has only played 4 matches, all of which were from the previous season, DC retained him for the IPL 2024 for 50 lakhs.

17. Pravin Dubey – ₹50 lakhs:

Pravin Dubey was named as a replacement by DC for Amit Mishra, who was sidelined from IPL 2020 due to a finger injury. Later at the IPL 2022 mega auction, Dubey was acquired by the Delhi Capitals for 50 lakhs. Thus far, he has played in 4 matches. Despite this, DC retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 50 lakhs.

16. Ishant Sharma – ₹50 lakhs:

Ishant Sharma was initially acquired by DC in the IPL 2019 auction but was later released. However, he was bought again by DC at the IPL 2023 auction for 50 lakhs. Before joining DC, Ishant had played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Deccan Chargers, Rising Pune Supergiants, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings). To date, he has featured in 101 matches, claiming 83 wickets. DC retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 50 lakhs.

15. Tristan Stubbs – ₹50 Lakh:

Tristan Stubbs was acquired by DC for 50 lakhs at the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining DC, he played for Mumbai Indians and featured in a total of 4 matches. With his evident talent, Stubbs will be determined to leave a mark in the upcoming IPL 2024.

14. Lalit Yadav – ₹65 lakhs:

Lalit Yadav was initially bought by the Delhi Capitals at the IPL 2020 auction, and then again at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 65 lakhs. To date, he has played in 25 matches, scoring 295 runs and taking 10 wickets. DC retained him for the IPL 2024 for the same amount of 65 lakhs.

13. Shai Hope – ₹75 lakhs:

Shai Hope was acquired by DC for 75 lakhs at the IPL 2024 auction. Hope is eager to make a significant impact when given the opportunity to take the field in the IPL 2024.

12. Sumit Kumar – ₹1 crore:

Sumit Kumar was purchased by DC for 1 crore at the IPL 2024 auction. This marks his debut season in the IPL, and as an all-rounder, he will be determined to make the most of this opportunity when given the chance to play.

11. Kuldeep Yadav – ₹2 crores:

Kuldeep Yadav was acquired by DC for Rs. 2 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining DC, he was part of the MI squad but did not get a chance to play before being bought by Kolkata Knight Riders. With 73 matches under his belt, where he has taken 71 wickets, Yadav has proven his worth in the IPL. DC retained him for the IPL 2024 for the same price of 2 crores.

10. Jhye Richardson – ₹5 crores:

Jhye Richardson was acquired by DC for 5 crores at the IPL 2024 auction. Before joining DC, he played for Punjab Kings for one season. Subsequently, he was bought by Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2023 auction but couldn’t play due to injury. Richardson is eager to make a strong comeback in the IPL 2024 for DC and showcase his talent on the field.

8. Khaleel Ahmed – ₹5.25 crores:

Khaleel Ahmed was bought by DC for 5.25 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. As of now, he has participated in 43 matches and taken 57 wickets. DC retained him for the same amount for the IPL 2024.

9. Mukesh Kumar – ₹5.5 crores:

Mukesh Kumar was acquired by DC at the IPL 2023 auction for 5.5 crores. He participated in 10 matches during the 2023 season, securing 7 wickets. Given his performance, DC retained him for the IPL 2024 for 5.5 crores.

7. David Warner – ₹6.25 crores:

David Warner was acquired by DC for 6.25 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining DC in this current stint, he played for both Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals) and Sunrisers Hyderabad. With an illustrious career spanning 176 matches and amassing 6397 runs, Warner has been a consistent performer in the IPL. DC retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 6.25 crores.

6. Mitchell Marsh – ₹6.5 crores:

Mitchell Marsh was acquired by DC for 6.5 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Before joining DC in his current stint, he played for Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals), Pune Warriors India, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. So far, Marsh has participated in 38 matches, scoring 605 runs and taking 36 wickets. Impressed by his contributions, DC retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 6.5 crores.

5. Anrich Nortje – ₹6.5 crores:

Anrich Nortje joined Delhi Capitals as an injury replacement for Chris Woakes before the IPL 2020 and was retained for 6.5 crores before IPL 2022 mega auction. Thus far, he has played in 40 matches, claiming 53 wickets. Given his impressive performance, Delhi Capitals retained him for the IPL 2024 for the same price of 6.5 crores.

4. Kumar Kushagra – ₹7.20 crores:

Kumar Kushagra was acquired for a staggering 7.2 crores at the IPL 2024 auction, marking Delhi’s highest buy in that year’s auction. IPL 2024 will his debut season in the IPL, and he is determined to make a substantial impact whenever he’s given the opportunity to step onto the field.

3. Prithvi Shaw – ₹7.50 crores:

Prithvi Shaw was initially bought by DC in the IPL 2018 auction for 1.2 crores. Since then, he has played in 71 matches, accumulating 1694 runs. DC showed confidence in his abilities by retaining him for 7.5 crores before the IPL 2022 mega auction, and got retained for the same amount for the IPL 2024.

2. Axar Patel – ₹9 crores:

Axar Patel was initially bought by DC for 5 crores at the IPL 2019 auction. Since then, he has played in 136 matches, contributing with 1418 runs and 112 wickets. Prior to the IPL 2022 mega auction, DC retained him for 9 crores, and he got retained for the same price for the IPL 2024, demonstrating DC’s faith in his abilities.

1. Rishabh Pant – ₹16 crores:

Rishabh Pant was acquired by DC first time during IPL 2016 auction. Later he was retained by the franchise for a whopping 16 crores before the IPL 2022 mega auction. Despite missing IPL 2023 due to his tragic car accident, Pant was retained by DC for the same price for IPL 2024 where he returned to the field after a 14-month break.
