IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals (DC) schedule, squad, venues, timings and all you need to know

Delhi Capitals (DC) will play their first match of IPL 2025 on March 24 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Delhi Capitals (DC) are one of the three franchises, alongside Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), that have participated in all seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL) but have not won the title yet.
The franchise made headlines before the IPL 2025 mega auction by releasing their captain, Rishabh Pant. They have now announced Axar Patel as their captain for the upcoming season. The Capitals have added exciting names, including KL Rahul and Mitchell Starc to their squad.
DC will play their first match of IPL 2025 on March 24 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The Capitals will play 14 matches in the league stage, with seven at their home grounds and seven away. Their last group match is against Mumbai Indians on May 15 in Mumbai.
Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024
DC had an underwhelming campaign in IPL 2024, finishing sixth with 14 points from seven wins in 14 matches. The franchise struggled in the batting department and were overly reliant on the likes of Pant, Axar, and Jake Fraser-McGurk.
