Another controversy hits the Delhi Capitals camp during the IPL 2023.

Delhi Capitals have sanctioned a 'Code of Conduct' for its players after a cricketer allegedly misbehaved with a woman during a franchise party. The season has not been a smooth one for the Delhi Capitals and they have found themselves in the news for wrong reasons.

The Delhi Capitals took the requisite steps to avoid such incidents in future as an Indian Express report suggested that the Code of Conduct has been implemented to maintain the image of the franchise. The report further highlighted that the players no longer bring their acquaintances to their rooms after 10 pm. However, they can meet them in the team hotel's restaurant or coffee shop.

The Code of Conduct states that players must inform the officials at the franchise if they have to leave the hotel premises for a personal meeting. The franchise has warned that any breach of the guidelines might result in a fine or termination of the contract. While the players' wives and girlfriends can accompany them, their expenses will not be borne by the franchises.

Delhi Capitals retain a glimmer of hope of reaching the IPL 2023 playoffs

Meanwhile, the Capitals suffered five successive defeats before beating the Kolkata Knight Riders for their first win. Although David Warner and co. had to chase only 128, they got to the finish line with four balls to spare. Ishant Sharma earned the Player of the Match award for his figures of 4-0-19-2.

The Capitals delivered yet another underwhelming batting performance in against the SunRisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Axar Patel and Manish Pandey stitched a useful 69-run partnership after another top-order collapse that saw them lose three wickets in an over.

Nevertheless, the bowlers yet again came to the party as Anrich Nortje and Axar Patel took two wickets each to limit them to 137 and win by seven runs.
