Delhi Premier League 2024: Teams, squads, schedule, live streaming details and all you need to know

Delhi Premier League 2024 will be played from August 17 to September 8.

Amid ongoing T20 frenzy around the world as well as in India, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) launched a T20 league for cricketers in Delhi, namely Delhi Premier League (DPL). The inaugural edition of the tournament will be played at New Delhi’s Arun Jaitley stadium from August 17 to September 8.

The DPL 2024 will see a total of 40 matches – 33 men’s games and seven women’s matches.

The much-awaited tournament will see several Team India and Indian Premier League stars taking part in the inaugural edition of the DPL. Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, Harshit Rana, Yash Dhull, and many more will be playing in the DPL 2024 T20 tournament. 

During the grand launch of the upcoming DPL 2024 edition, the DDCA announced former Indian opener Virender Sehwag as the brand ambassador of the inaugural tournament. The announcement was made on August 2 during an event in New Delhi.

During the launch event, it was also revealed that a total of six men’s teams were sold for INR 49.65 crores. The winner of the DPL 2024 will receive prize money of 1 crore.
