Why Dharamsala will not host 1st IND vs BAN T20I in October 2024?

There are three T20Is scheduled from October 6 to 12 in the IND vs BAN series.
On 13th August 2024, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a significant change in the venue for the first IND vs BAN T20I, by moving it out of Dharamsala.
Starting September 19, Bangladesh will tour India for two test matches and three T20Is. This will mark the start of India’s home season, which includes hosting New Zealand and England. In between the Asian giants will tour South Africa for a T20I series and Australia for a five-match test series.
Why the 1st IND vs BAN T20I is moved out of Dharamsala to Gwalior?
The first T20I between India and Bangladesh, which was earlier slated to be played on October 6 in Dharamsala, will now be played in Gwalior. The BCCI said that the reason for this shift in venue is because of “upgrades and renovation work being carried out by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in the dressing rooms.”
This is the second time in two years that an international match has been moved out of Dharamsala. In February 2023, the board shifted the third IND vs AUS test to Indore just weeks before the scheduled start of the match because the outfield was not ready for play.
The India vs Bangladesh first T20I will be played at the New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium, Gwalior. This is the first international fixture in Gwalior since the India vs South Africa ODI match in 2010, in which Sachin Tendulkar became the first men’s player in history to hit an ODI double century.
The revised schedule is as below.
